Washington School Board members have given final approval for the sale of 90 acres of land to the city of Washington. It’s part of a plan designed to help the district offset the cost of the property purchased for the new high school and allow the city to construct a wellness park. The board unanimously approved the sale at last night’s meeting. The city will pay 675-thousand dollars, or 75-hundred dollars per acre.
