Washington School Board members this week are slated to approve a budget that calls for $450,000 in cuts and increases the tax levy by nearly one dollar. It’s hoped that the two measures can help fill the gap by the 10-percent funding cut from the state. Board members will also take public comment on the spending plan at the special meeting Wednesday night at 6:00 at the school administration building.
