press play to hear from WCSD Supt. Dave Sextro
There are a few details that need to be worked out before the sale of 90 acres of land from the school district to the city of Washington is finalized. Superintendent Dave Sextro says the likely agreement will have the city will provide half the money upfront and pay interest on the remainder. School board members were expected to sign the contract last week, but Sextro says legal council was giving the document a final review. The city has said they plan to build a wellness park on the property.
