Chaney, Feigenspan win titles on final day at state track

Two more state champions from southeast Iowa crowned on the final day of the State Track and Field Meet. In class 2A, Columbus Sam Chaney won the 1600. Also in 2A on the girls side, Mid-Prairie’s Natalie Feigenspan won the 100 meter dash. Looking at some of the area’s other top finishers:

2A Boys 800 – Mid-Prairie Justin Hochestetler 7th Quinn Hollan 9th

3A Girls Shuttle Hurdle Relay – Washington 8th Alexa Walker, Lucy Libe, Hannah Rich, Regan Enfield

1A Boys Shuttle Hurdle Relay – Winfield-Mount Union 6th Wes Atkinson, Dillion Price, Trent Haines, Kerry Unkrich

2A Girls 100 – Mid-Prairie Natalie Feigenspan 1st

3A Girls 100 – Fairfield Libby Schubert 1st

1A 110 High Hurdles – Winfield-Mount Union Wes Atkinson 5th

2A 110 High Hurdles – Mid-Prairie Tanner Miller 2nd
