The Washington Demon boys golf team finished fifth at the state tournament, which wrapped up on Saturday. The Demons were fourth after the first round on Friday shooting a 330. Washington shot a 336 on Saturday to finish the tournament with a 666. Ballard won the title with a 647, Spencer was second with 649, Decorah third shooting 650 and Clear Lake fourth with 661. Individually for Washington, Joe Harris shot a 79-84 163 to lead the way, Alex Thode shot 87-80 167, Brock Kimball 81-86 167, Kaleb Rich 83-86 169, Dillon DePerrot 90-92 182, Jake Redlinger 90-110 200.
