The Washington Demon track and field teams get a little preview of their District/Regional meet when they compete at the Southeast Conference Meet today in Fort Madison. The District/Regional meet will be run on Friday, but five of the eight teams will be at today’s meet. The approach in forming lineups for the conference meet might be slightly different. Demon Head Coach Steve Roth says the lineups for the conference meet are done in every effort to maximize team points. In the District/Regional meet coaches typically formulate their lineup based on what they feel has the best chance to qualify for state and don’t have much concern for team points. The Demons are running at the Southeast Conference meet in Fort Madison today.
