Washington High School will soon be in the market for a new principal. Shane Eheresman is leaving the post at WHS to take superintendent’s position at the Lynneville-Sully School District in central Iowa. He says it’s very close to his wife’s hometown of Grinnell. Ehresman says a superintendent’s job is also the next logical step in his career. He’s been principal at Washington for five years. Prior to that he was an assistant principal at Marion High School. He’ll leave Washington at the end of this school year.
