press play to hear from Farm Bureau Regional Manager Jerry Anderson

The three Republicans vying for their party’s nomination in Iowa Senate District 45 are taking part in a forum put on by the Farm Bureau tonight. The winner of the primary between Sandy Greiner of Keota, Rick Marlar of Wayland and Randy Besick of Keosauqua will face Democrat Becky Schmitz in the general election. Farm Bureau Regional Manager Jerry Anderson says they’re hosting the forum so voters can make an educated decision on the best candidate to represent their views. Anderson says the three will have time for opening statements. After that they’ll take questions from the public. There will be a time limit on answers. The forum is tonight at 7:00 at the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center. The Farm Bureau has named Greiner “a friend of agriculture.”
