press play to hear from Parks Supt. Tim Widmer

City workers in Washington are getting one of the staples of the town’s downtown area ready for the summer. Parks Superintendent Tim Widmer says they’re giving the Central Park Fountain a fresh coat of epoxy based paint and hope to have it up and running by Memorial Day Weekend. The fountain is famous for its multi colored lights and varying spray patterns. It’s been in existence for more than 70 years.
