It was a big match up in soccer last night as IMS hosted Iowa City Regina in a battle of two unbeatens. Yesterday we told you Regina was number one and IMS was number two, well actually a new poll came out yesterday morning that had IMS edge out Regina in the voting and IMS took over number one. In the game IMS nearly scored out of the gate but the shot just missed. Regina would get on the board first with nine minutes to go in the first half. Midway through the second half IMS’ Brian Miller got a goal from 18 yards out to tie it up. Vince Rhodes would score the go ahead goal and ultimately the winning goal ten minutes later. IMS wins 2-1 and is now 11-0 on the season.
