Eastern Iowa Congressman Dave Loebsack is looking into legislation that would overturn a Supreme Court Decision that made it more difficult for older workers to file a claim of age discrimination against an employer. Loebsack says it’s an issue that’s very important for his home state, because Iowa has the fourth largest over 65 population. Loebsack took part in a House subcommittee meeting that heard testimony from Jack Gross. He’s an Iowa resident who brought an age discrimination suit against FBL Financial, in which the high court shifted more burden of proof to the victim.
