The Washington County Historic Preservation Commission is doling out more than $4,700 in grant money to local projects. The organization’s Michael Zahs announced the funding along with their annual report at this week’s board of supervisors’ meeting. Some of the biggest allocations include $1,500 for the Washington County Fair Association to relocate the old Johnson Hog Building, $1,200 for the Daughters of the American Revolution to maintain the Log House in Washington’s Central Park, and $1,100 for use at the Conger House.
