The Washington County Secondary Roads Department is getting a new bulldozer and grader. Engineer David Patterson says they’ve gotten most of the use they can out of both of their current pieces of equipment. He says they’re moving to a smaller bulldozer because due to budget constraints, they are no longer conducting larger projects, and a smaller vehicle makes more sense. The two items will cost the county more than 200-thousand dollars after trade in.
