Two Washington athletes have qualified to compete at a national track and field competition. Demon Boys Head Track and Field Coach Steve Roth says Bubba Coker and Landon Coker advanced out of a USA Track and Field regional meet recently held in Johnston. Roth says Bubba Coker won the long jump for his age group going 19’4” . He will be a freshman this coming school year. Roth says he also placed fifth in the 100 meter dash which also allows him to advance. Roth says Landon Coker also advanced to nationals in 100 meter dash running 11.6 to finish 7th. The USA Track and Field national meet will be held next month.
