The Iowa State Extension along with Vision Ag is presenting a crop technology tour at a local mans farm. The event is taking place at the Jeff Bermal farm near Keota on Wednesday evening July 7th. Corn and soybean disease management is featured on the tour. ISU Extension Field Agronomist Jim Fawcett says fungicides are becoming more widely used in corn and soybeans in Iowa and this year’s wet weather have some growers concerned about the potential for crop diseases to occur. Recent fungicide research results will also be presented. A free meal will be served at six, followed by the tour. For more information, contact the Keokuk County Extension office.
