The Demon baseball team got a sweep at home last night in a doubleheader with Centerville. In the first game the Demons scored eight runs in the first but the Big Reds were able to pull within two making it 8-6. Brad Weatherman came on and didn’t allow a hit in the 4th, 5th, or 6th innings as the Demons won 8-6.

In the second game the Demons led 3-1 early and at one point had a 9-2 lead on their way to a 10-5 win. Brian Roder was the winning pitcher in the second game, while at the plate Josh Moore went 3-3 and Jordan Gier went 2-3. The Demons had 12 hits in the game. Washington improves to 5-0 with the win.
