The Demon baseball team had the bats going last night on the road against Highland, including Kaleb Rich going deep twice. Washington started in the top of the first with an Anthony Ossman base hit, a Josh Moore double, then back to back home runs from Kaleb Rich and Brad Weather to put the Demons up 4-0. Highland responded with a Riley Kleopfer two run home run to cut the gap in half at 4-2. The Demons though would get another run in the second and score three in the fourth including another two run shot from Kaleb Rich. Washington would add five in the sixth and win 13-2 in six innings. The Demons improve to 8-1 and now head to Mount Pleasant for a doubleheader with the Panthers. Washington comes in 2-0 in the conference.
