On the softball field the Demons got the sweep. Washington won the first game 5-2. In that game Lucy Libe went 3-4 stole two bases and drove in a run. Katy Jo Jenkins had a hit and scored a run, and Tara Zwer went 1-2 with an rbi and scored a run. Greta Smeins struck out 12.

The second game was called in the fifth inning because of lightning with the Demons leading 3-1. Because the game was in the fifth when it was called it is a completed game and the teams won’t have to finish it. With the two wins the Demon softball team is 16-3 and 8-2 in the conference.
