The Demons softball team got a road sweep in their conference doubleheader in Fairfield. The Demons scored five runs in the top of the first, but Fairfield answered with five in the bottom of the inning. Washington got two more in the second to go up 7-5 on their way to a 13-7 win. Maddie Bohr went 2-4 at the plate with a double and scored two runs. Lauren Vittetoe had two rbi singles and a double. Molly Donnolly went 3-4.

In game two the Demons led 2-0 but in the fourth Fairfield with two outs loaded the bases and Tori Ogden came up with a base hit to score three runs and give Fairfield the one run lead. The Demons would two in the sixth to recapture the lead 4-3. Fairfield forced extra innings by getting a run in the seventh. Washington would score three in the top of the ninth, and with the bases loaded for Fairfield, Greta Smeins who had come on in relief for Maddie Bohr in the seventh, struck out two batters to get the win 7-4. Demons are now 4-1 and 3-1 in the conference.
