The Washington Demon baseball team got a solid road win over Williamsburg last night 16-2 in five innings. Demon Head Coach Nathan Miller says they played some of their best baseball of the season. This was a make up from Wednesday and they didn’t played a JV game before it as was originally scheduled they just played a varsity game. The Demons got up 8-0 scoring five in the second and three in the third. Williamsburg scored two runs in the bottom of the third, one of them earned. Washington would respond with three in the fourth and five in the fifth to get the win. At the plate, Jake Redlinger went 3-3 and homered, T. J. Rausch went 3-4 and Brad Weatherman went 3-3 with two doubles. Brad Weatherman and Josh Moore pitched and combined to hold Williamsburg to six hits, strike out three and walked one. The Demons improve to 13-3 on the season.
