Demons score twenty plus in second game of split

The Demon baseball team was also in action on Saturday, they were facing Durant-Bennett and ended splitting. Durant won the first game 7-6. Washington was up six to four going into the seventh but Durant-Bennett rallied to get the win. Josh Moore, Kaleb Rich, Jordan Gier, and Jake Redlinger each had doubles. Kaleb Rich had three rbis.

In the other game Washington won big 23-2 in four innings. T J Rausch and Austin Knupp homered both first carreer homers. Josh Moore and Austin Knupp had four rbi’s and Kaleb Rich had three. The Demons had 20 hits in the game. Of the sixteen Demons that suited up, 14 got hits, one was hit by a pitch and the other had a sacrafice fly. Washington will now go on the road to face Keokuk a team they swept in Washington.
