A resort designed by veterans for veterans is having a groundbreaking ceremony this weekend. English River Outfitters’ mission is to provide a safe outdoor experience for veterans to help with healing and closure. It offers hunting, fishing and camping. President and CEO Chuck Geertz says it also offers a great support group for veterans and allows them to relax and enjoy nature while sharing with others. . English River Outfitters Resort is non-profit corporation, and operates solely on donations and fundraisers. To make a donation, contact the resort or donate online at English river outfitters dot org. The groundbreaking and fundraiser is this Sunday at the resort beginning at 4pm.
