The Washington Demons were washed out of their second day at the Fairfield Softball Invitational on Saturday. The Demons beat West Burlington 3-1 on Friday and were scheduled to meet Wilton in the semifinals. Wilton beat Van Buren 9-0. However with the rain all day Saturday the games had to be a canceled. It’s the first time in the tournament’s 31 year history that a champion won’t be crowned.
