In under a couple of months small businesses in Iowa will be able to apply for state loans to help with expansions and deal with these tough economic times. State Senator Becky Schmitz says in looking at ways to help small businesses during the economic downturn, the main things they heard is small businesses were finding it difficult to borrow. So Schmitz says they set up a couple of loan programs for small businesses to help with expansion and improvements. According to Schmitz these loans will be available August 1st.
