Open Class Exhibits Needed For Fair

The Washington County Fair is looking for entries for this year’s Open Class Division.  The classes of hobbies include Art and Photography, crafts, all types of needlework and quilts, woodworking, culinary, flowers and plants as well as dried arrangements.  There is also a largest vegetable contest.  Entries can be dropped off at the old school house at the fairgrounds on Monday, July 19th from 9 to noon.  Fees include 50 cents per article, or five dollars for 11 to 20 articles, and seven dollars for 21 to 30 articles.  For more information, and a complete listing of classes,  check out the fair issue available at the Washington County Extension office.
