The actor playing Oliver Warbucks in the upcoming production of Annie is raising money for cancer research, by changing his appearance for the role. Washington Community theater is putting on the musical next week. Dr. Ryan Flannery is playing the part and he says after he was cast in the role, everyone seemed to ask him if he was going to shave his head. Thinking about how production is playing at the same time as Washington’s Relay for Life, he decided to do a pledge drive to shave his head to raise money for cause. He’ll shave his head Sunday on the square in Washington at 4:30pm in the band shell. Nicole Miller who plays the role of Annie will do the honors.
