The Washington County Board of Supervisors has approved a 0% pay increase for elected county officials and officials’ deputies.  County Auditor Bill Fredrick says the Board of Supervisors does not set pay increases for the two groups, but can accept or reduce the recommendation given by the Washington County Compensation Board.  Last week, the board recommended a 0% increase for elected officials and their deputies, and the recommendation was unanimously approved.
