Iowa Workforce Development’s Regional Research and Analysis Bureau is completing a Laborshed employment study of Washington County.  Washington Economic Development Group Director Ed Raber says the study can be used to match workers with employers already in Washington, or to entice new companies to the area.  Raber says surveys have been sent to county businesses to determine the potential labor force from which employers draw their employees, and Washington area companies are likely to be selected for the survey.
