The Wellman YMCA has scheduled several activities during Wellman’s Fourth of July celebration. An eight team co-ed volleyball tournament, three on three basketball tournament, scavenger hunt, sidewalk chalk art, bake sale and obstacle course are set to take place on July fifth in North Park in Wellman. The volleyball tournament is 45 dollars per team and must be registered by June 30th. The basketball tournament is for ten to 14 year olds, and cost is 10 dollars per team. Teams may register the day of the tournament. The scavenger hunt, bake sale and other family games begin at 2pm. More information can be obtained by calling the Wellman YMCA.
