Brighton is commemorating their community celebration for their one hundredth year anniversary. The event known as Booster Days changed to Whoopee Days in 1929. This year they are adding several events for the anniversary. Friday the 18th is labeled Farm Day, which celebrates Brighton’s history of agriculture. Saturday is the Whoopee Walk, Lion’s Breakfast, the kiddy parade, mud run, car show, and street dance beginning at 9pm. Many games and contests are scheduled all day for kids.
