The Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association has released all-district teams and two Demons received first team honors. In the Southeast District for 3A, Washington’s Kaleb Rich was selected at shortstop. Demon Head Coach Nathan Miller says Rich has been invaluable as a senior captain. Also Brad Weatherman was selected first team as a utility player. Josh Moore was selected second team all-district as a pitcher.

In 2A, Mid-Prairie’s Aaron Smit was selected first team, and second teamers for Mid-Prairie were Dilon Wertz and Cody Bontrager made second team.

In 1A, Highland’s Zach Rozmus was selected first team as a pitcher, Jackson Brokaw made it as a third baseman, and from Sigourney Matt Meier was selected first team as a utility player. Making second team all-district from the area, from Highland Jake Hootman and Sigourney’s Logan Northup as pitchers, the left handed catcher from IMS Riley Hochstedler, and Highland’s Cody Boyd as a catcher.
