This month, the Brinton Film Festival celebrates its 12th year of showing some of the oldest movies still in existence, some of which date all the way back to 1897. For the first time, this year the festival will have also have a display of early projectors, including a projector originally used over 100 years ago. The film festival is 7:30 pm on Friday and Saturday, July 30th and 31st at the Ainsworth Opera House. An ice cream social will also take place before the films each night at 7.
