You may notice changes to the Washington County Fairgrounds later this month.  County Fair Board Vice President Don Lewis says they’re completing new multi-species and hoop buildings, as well as new restroom facilities.  Lewis says the buildings are needed because of increased demand at the fairgrounds, and he says this year the fair will also offer a new semi-tractor class and ticket system.  Each entry ticket is now numbered and will be entered into a prize drawing each night in the grandstands.  The Washington County Fair starts this Sunday, July 18th, and runs through the 23rd.  Tickets are $6 per day, or $15 for six tickets to each day of the fair.
