Southeast Iowa Congressman Dave Loebsack has delivered on his promise to extend the National Flood Insurance Program. Loebsack says he offered and passed a bipartisan amendment to the Flood Insurance Reform Priorities Act of 2010 that reauthorizes the National Flood Insurance Program for five years.  He says the program offers reasonable rates to Iowans that may not be able to afford private coverage because of their area. A complete list of participating cities and counties is available at FEMA.gov. The Federal Emergency Management Agency website lists Louisa, Johnson, Keokuk, and Iowa counties as participants.
