Governor Chet Culver has ordered all flags in Iowa be at half staff tomorrow in honor of a fallen soldier from Iowa. Captain David Wisniewski of Moville died from injuries suffered while serving in Afghanistan on July 2nd. Culver’s order applies to all U.S. and state flags under the control of the state. Captain Wisniewski’s funeral is at 10am tomorrow at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Iowa City. Captain Wisniewski is credited with saving numerous lives during his Air Force career.
