Louisa County’s Running Wild Event

Registrations are being taken for Louisa County’s Trail Race and Fun Run. The event is open to walkers and runners of all ages through a scenic route through the Port Louisa National Wildlife Refuge. There is 3 and 5 mile run/walks, as well as a 1/2 mile and 1 mile Farm Bureau Kids’ Fun Run. Entry fees for the 3 and 5 mile races are $15 through August 7 and $20 after that date. Entry forms are available at the Louisa County Conservation Board office, or online at www.RunLouisaCounty.com [1]. Other events include educational exhibits, a hands-on conservation display, and on-site physical therapy and athletic training coverage. The Louisa County’s Trail Race and Fun Run is Saturday, August 21 at the Port Louisa National Wildlife Refuge.
