In baseball, class 1A began their postseason games. IMS was playing at Highland against New London. New London took a 2-0 lead early, IMS responded scoring three runs to go up 3-2 but in the fifth a two run home run gave New London the lead back and they’d score two more to win 6-3. New London improves to 8-10 on the season while IMS ends their season 14-8. New London will play Highland who played a crazy one against Lone Tree in the night cap. Highlnad won 14-13 in nine innings.

In Thornburg, Sigourney beat English Valleys 3-1 and Keota beat Tri-COunty 4-3.
