Funeral Services for 60 year old Ronald Lewis of Columbus Junction is at 10:30 Tuesday morning at the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction. Visitation is Monday from 4 to 7pm at the the Funeral Home. Burial is at the Columbus City Cemetery. A memorial has been established at the Funeral Home.

Alice Goodwin

Celebration of Life Services for 89 year old Alice Goodwin of Kalona will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at the Kalona United Methodist Church.  Burial will be in the Wellman Public Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Friday from 2:00 to 7:00 with family present from 2 – 4 and from 5 – 7 at the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona.

Last Full Day At The Washington County Fair

Today is the last full day of the Washington County Fair.  There is a livestock auction this morning at 9am, Barnyard Olympics at 2:30pm, Antique Appraisal Show at 5pm and Golf Cart Bowling at 5:30pm in the Grandstand.

Funeral services for 95 year old Pauline Dill of Keota will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 24 at the United Church of Faith in Keota.  Burial will be at Keota Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church. A memorial fund has been established for the Ron Dill Memorial Field or Keota QRS.

Iowa Lt. Governor To Attend Washington County Fair Tonight

Lt. Governor Patty Judge’s campaign office has confirmed that she will be walking the Washington County Fairgrounds tonight to meet with constituents.  Judge, a Democrat, will arrive at the Washington County Fair this evening at 6:15 pm.

Mid-Prairie softball finishes fifth at state
