The Gaels got up early and led three to nothing after three. Mid-Prairie fought back and narrowed the game to 3-2 and it would stay that way until the top of the sixth when St. Edmond got a home run and would lead 5-2 and that would be the final. For Mid-Prairie Kaitlin Kaalberg had an rbi, Mallory McArtor had a hit an rbi, and scored a run. Mariah Swartzendruber had a hit and scored a run. St. Edmond pitcher Jordan Florey had the drop ball working and held Mid-Prairie to three hits, struck out 12 and didn’t walk anyone. Mid-Prairie will now move into the consolation bracket and play two games tomorrow.
