The One to Count On...

Thursday Night Live Is Back

After a week hiatus, Thursday Night Live entertainment returns to Washington’s Central Park later this week. Each week the Farmers Market begins at 5pm, guest performers take the stage at 6:30, and the Washington Municipal Band performs at 8.  Thursday’s entertainment is broken into two parts.  First, Rosemary Harris takes the stage at 6:30, addressing the crowd as Ola Babcock Miller, an early 20th century resident of Washington, and best known as “The Mother of the Iowa Highway Patrol.”  Washington area musician Henry Eicher performs at 7, and says he’ll include at least one yodeling song, a fan favorite.
