This week Congressman Dave Loebsack visited local businesses in Iowa’s 2nd District to discuss economic development and flood issues. The Congressman told KCII that area businesses are having a hard time finding capital to support themselves because of the economy. He says the financial reform bill he voted for last week will help southeast Iowa’s companies get the funding they need to stay in business, and says future goals for legislation include closing the loopholes for companies that ship jobs overseas.
