Hayley Sieren is Washington County’s new fair queen. The Washington native is the daughter of Brian and Michele Sieren, and received the honor last night from outgoing Washington County Fair Queen Shelby Sieren. Washington’s Janelle Erwin was voted Miss Congeniality by her fellow contestants, and Joanna Hodder of Keota was 1st runner up. Miss Iowa Pauli Mayfield hosted and was assisted during the competition by current Iowa State Fair Queen Caine Westergard. Yesterday’s event was the final competition for longtime Washington County Fair Pageant coordinator Shirley Greiner.
