The local Knights of Columbus chapter has taken the state men’s softball crown and will head to Texas for a tournament Labor Day weekend. The team was playing against seven other Knights of Columbus chapters from around the state in a round robin tournament in Mount Pleasant. Washington went 5-1 to take the crown. They’ll face other Knights of Columbus teams from chapters around the country in September.
