The Washington Board of Education has approved a construction bid for grading and utilities at the site of its new high school building. A representative of SVPA Architects told the board the first phase of construction would finish next summer, and his company is finishing blueprints for the general construction of the districts new high school.  Those bids will be submitted by August 19th and approved on the 25th, with construction beginning in early September.  The SVPA Architects representative also told the board he believed “many local contractors” would submit bids for the second, and largest, phase of construction.
