A Wayland man was airlifted to University Hospital in Iowa City today after he lost control of his motorcycle. The Washington County Sheriff’s Department says at 9am this morning Travis Davis of Wayland was traveling northbound on Spruce Avenue near Ainsworth when he lost control of his 2005 Harley Davidson Motorcycle and crashed.  Ainsworth QRS and Fire, as well as Washington County Ambulance responded, but Davis was flown to a hospital in order to provide immediate medical assistance.
