One of the most popular programs offered by the Washington Chamber of Commerce begins this September, but the signup deadline is tomorrow. “Leadership Washington” runs September through May, and is designed to “educate civic minded individuals about current issues which face the Washington area.” Each monthly session involves a different topic, including an Economic Development and Finance Day, City and County Government Day, Agriculture Day and a County History Day. Class size is typically around 22-25, with a tuition fee of $175 for Chamber members. Non-Chamber members will be accepted if space allows. All applications must be returned by tomorrow.
