This month, Iowa’s Sudden Infant Death Syndrome Foundation is holding its 11th Annual Walk for the Future in Washington and six other cities across the state. Group spokeswoman Patty Keeley says the event is to “celebrate and remember the lives of babies that have died unexpectedly.”  The Iowa SIDS foundation says more than $400,000 has been raised in the last ten years to help battle the leading cause of death for infants from one month to one year of age.  The eleventh annual Iowa SIDS Foundation Walk for the Future is Saturday, August 28th at 8:30 am in Washington’s Sunset Park.  For more information, visit iowasids.org.
