The Washington Demon volleyball team is at the Mount Mercy pre-season tournament. It’s a nine team tournament and the Demons brought two of those team. Washington Head Coach Jeff Spenner says the first day went pretty good but he could tell the girls were tired towards the end. The Demons had just wrapped up their team camp yesterday before going to the tournament. Spenner says the matches are more like controlled scrimmages. He says both teams split on the first day. They’ll have four more matches today and he intends to mix the girls around among the two teams.
