When the Washington Demons open the football season on Friday at Mid-Prairie, they will have a slightly different look defensively. The Demons in the past under Defensive Coordinator Jason Hoover have run a 4-4, and last year at times a 3-4. This year with Dave Hoffman taking over Washington will run a 4-3. Hoffman says he likes the 4-3 because it allows them to take advantage of one of their strengths, their quickness. Hoffman says in the 4-3 they can sit back, not have to worry about blitzing much and just run to the ball. Washington heads on the road to Wellman to face the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks on Friday.
