It’s the first day that high school football teams across Iowa can begin practices. Teams won’t be allowed to put on the pads or have contact until Thursday. The idea is the state association doesn’t want the kids going full speed the first few days back. The Demons held their football camp last week and Head Coach Randy Shrader says they had around 62 out and he expected a couple of more that were away at family vacations. The Demons open the season August 27th at Mid-Prairie.
